In honor of National Girl Scout Day, on March 12th we will be hosting Girl Scout Troop 263 on Saturday, March 2nd from 10 AM to 12 PM. Get your cookie orders ready, they will be here selling their delicious Girls Scout cookies.

Did you know the Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world? You are supporting local girls in our community to have amazing experiences, teach them essential skills, and launch them into a lifetime of leadership.

March Madness Bracket Challenge

Enter our Ultris CSQ NCAA Bracket Challenge for a chance to win a March Madness inspired gift basket to enjoy the National Championship game on April 8th. It’s easy to play and enter! On March 17th the NCAA Division Men’s Basketball committee will be announcing the 2019 bracket, complete the brackets up to the Regional Semifinals and turn it to the office in person or by email to [email protected]. The bracket that has the closest selected team will be the winner. You can pick up a bracket at the office.

Turn in your completed bracket to the office in person or by email by March 18th.

Pancakes and Pajamas

In honor of National Pancake Day on March 12th, join us in the café for made to order pancakes with all the toppings in your PJs on Saturday, March 16th 9 AM to 11AM.

Resident Appreciation Breakfast

Join Ebonique Shiver our Xfinity Community Representative on Saturday, March 30th 10 AM to 1 PM. Stop by and enjoy a complimentary breakfast. All residents are welcome and if you have any questions about different services Xfinity has to offer she will be here to answer them for you.

Nominate your pet for our Pet of the Month

Every month we will feature a different pet in our office and reward them with a $25 PetSmart gift card. They will also be featured on our social media sites as our ambassador for events and activities. Just stop by, call or email us to nominate your pet.

Did you know?

• It’s your responsibility to clean up after your pets. Any resident who violates this will be charged a $500 fine.

Cupid will be stopping to deliver treats on Valentine’s Day. You can send one to your roommate, spouse, neighbor, pet or anyone who lives at Ultris Courthouse Square.

It’s simple to do:

1. Stop by the office, call or email us. Tell us who you would like to send your spe-cial Valentine to.
2. Add a personal message or remain anon-ymous.
3. On Valentine’s Day we will deliver your valentine outside the door.

Last Day to take orders is Tuesday, February 12th.

Love Where You Live Photo Contest

Starting February 1st, enter our Love Where You Live social media contest for a chance to win a $50.00 gift card to Home Goods!

1. Take a photo of your favorite place a Ultris Courthouse Square.
2. Post it on Facebook or Instagram.
3. Use #loveultriscsq and tell us why you love living here.

Each photo you post will be considered as an entry. You can take pictures inside of your apartment or outside around the community.
We will pick a winner on Thursday, February 28th.

DID YOU KNOW:

• We offer a pest control service at no charge to you. Call us and see the calendar for dates of service.
• When we need to get information out to the entire community quickly we will email it to you. Please ensure your email is up to date in our system.

Community Parking Policies

Please keep these points in mind when parking your vehicle in the community.

• Resident decals must be placed on the front or back windshield in a clearly visible area. (Do not put on a tint strip area.)
• Resident vehicles with properly displayed resident decals may park in any available resident spaces.
• Visitor spaces are available for any guest of a resident in the community that doesn’t have resident decal displayed.
• Vehicles cannot be broken down or inoperable.
• A dead inspection and registration will be given a 24 hour warning as a courtesy.
• Vehicles cannot be double parked.
• Handicap spaces are only to be used by vehicles that have the proper handicap permits.
• Recreational vehicles, including Rvs, boats and wave runners are prohibited. Please notify the office of any moving vehicles that will be on the property overnight and we will let you know where you can park.
• Rental Cars: If you are a resident with a rental car, you can obtain a temporary parking permit from the office that will allow you to park in resident only spaces.
• Expired Vehicle Registrations: As a courtesy, if your registration or inspection has expired and you need more time to get in compliance; you can contact the office to be placed on a do not tow List.
• If a car is towed please call Shanks Towing at (540) 710-1628.

• 1pm: Dogs 25lbs and under
• 2pm: Dogs between 26lbs and 80lbs
• 3pm: Dogs over 80lbs

• Leave all windows CLOSED.
• Do NOT turn off the heat. Keep your temperature setting on your thermostat to 65 degrees or higher.
• Alert the management office that you will be away for an extended period of time.
• Let the faucets slowly drip
• Open cabinet doors under all sinks to circulate warmer air around the pipes.
• If you experience a water leak or a pipe has burst, please call 540-720-2001 immediately and leave a message for our on-call emergency maintenance. Do not attempt to thaw out frozen pipes yourself.

Note: Any damage to personal property will not be covered by the Ultris Courthouse Square insurance, so make sure your renter’s insurance policy and automobile policy is up-to-date.

Sitter & Barfoot Veterans Care Center is a 160-bed short term rehab and long term care facility, owned and operated by the Virginia Department of Veterans Services. We are located on the grounds of the Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Hospital. SBVCC was established for the short term and long term care needs of our honorably discharged Virginia Veterans as well as our active duty members who may have a need for short-term rehab. Physical, Occupational and speech therapy are offered on site. All rooms are private rooms with full bathroom and all meals are prepared on site and served in the dining hall

We are currently asking residents to please take a moment out of their busy schedules to make a Valentine or write a message and drop it off in one of our two collection boxes located in the Computer Lounge and Leasing Office. It only requires a few minutes of your time to decorate a care and write a mesage, and most importantly, brighten a hero's day!

Valentines cards and candy will be accepted until 6:00pm on Friday, February 12, 2016.
