\nThis is a great event to bring your family to for a day of fun. Held on the Celebration Stage at John Lee Pratt Memorial Park, you can listen to Darkwater Redemption from 3-5 p.m. Darkwater Redemption is known for playing classic country favorites. This event costs $10 per car.

\nBavarian Music<\/strong>
\n
\nWant to relax and have a low-key experience? Every Saturday through October at 7 p.m., you can hear Bavarian music at Deutschland Downtown’s Biergarten in Fredericksburg. Plus, it’s free and you can bring your pets.

\nBerklee grad Jeff Miller is playing at Adventure Brewing in Fredericksburg on July 17 from 8-10 p.m. If you haven’t heard him play before, you’ll be drawn in by the sounds of a full band he creates on his own.

\nThe Princess and the Magic Pea<\/strong>

\nLive music doesn’t just mean a band is performing. Starting July 18, you and your family can enjoy a magical afternoon getting lost in a musical performance about a princess and a test involving mattresses and a pea. The performance at Riverside Center includes lunch and the show for $18. They also offer a military discount, so if you qualify be sure to ask about it.

\nThigh High Tye Dye, Banned Class, and Atoms Apart<\/strong>

\nWhen July 23 at 7 p.m. rolls around, you can expect fans of garage rock and nova new wave electronic music to be at St. George’s Episcopal Church. The cover is $5 and the show is all ages. As a courtesy, use the George Street door when you arrive.

\nCelebrate Virginia Live with Hank Williams Jr. and Special Guest Lewis Brice<\/strong>
\nRounding out our list is an event on the last day of July at the Pancho Villa Pavilion near the Fredericksburg Expo Center. On the 31st<\/sup>, you can hear a sweet blend of rock, blues, and country from the comfort of a lawn chair or blanket. General admission is $28.50 in advance and $34 on the day of the show.
