There are a variety of different activities available besides swimming, including, fishing, volleyball, a recreation field for pickup sports games, concessions and pavilions, which are available for rent. If you are staying for longer than a day, there are cottages available for rent, as well as motel rooms. Activities include beachcombing for shark teeth and other Miocene fossils, birdwatching, fossil hunting, scuba diving and swimming.
